We offer spring snow goose hunts in cornfields and water that border the Platte Rivers. We are located at the main choke point in the Central Flyway, the Platte Rivers valley, where many birds pass through on their annual return from their migration to the north.
The snow goose hunt involves Snow, Ross’s and Blue goose and there is no limit. No plugs, extender tubes are legal. We operate our hunts out of layout blinds in the fields which offers you a quality “up close and personal” experience.
We use some of the best snow goose decoys in industry, which features full body and deadly decoys. We also use electronic snow goose callers that features top-notch snow goose sounds.
Steel shot is required for the hunt and we recommend # 2 or a bigger sized-shot. In fact, 12-gauge #2, #BB, or # BBB shot 3”.
We suggest wearing earth tone colors or camouflage that is just warm and able to layer. No waders needed unless for warmth on the really cold days. Snacks for morning and afternoon hunts. Will have warm lunch mid day.
